Founding Engineer @ Toolkit

Toolkit is looking for engineers to help us eliminate grunt work in every company. We are starting with finance teams, who waste three quarters of their year on grunt work due to siloed and bloated software.

We are a deeply technical team obsessed with unglamorous problems that slow down every company. We are backed by Entrepreneur First and the fund behind Brex, Snowflake, and Anduril, with a $3.4M seed round raised in December 2024.

Currently, we are in pilots with many of the US's fastest growing VC-backed companies.

As a Founding Engineer, you will be a core part of our early team and have a massive impact on our product, culture, and company trajectory. You will work directly with the founders to build our platform from the ground up, tackling difficult and interesting technical problems.

Some of the challenges you'll help us solve:

• • Building robust, scalable data models that ingest and standardize data from any source.
• • Architecting a high-performance reconciliation engine that can process millions of rows in seconds.
• • Designing an intuitive and powerful Excel plug-in that feels like magic to our users.
• • Making product decisions that will shape Toolkit for years to come.

We are looking for an ambitious engineer with 3+ years of professional experience. We value potential, drive, and a passion for building great products over years on a resume.
